I live in the St. Louis Missouri area and have experienced some of the most insane weather situations anyone can imagine. Living in St. Louis we experience almost every weather phenomenon you can think of, minus hurricanes. This is a birthright in the Midwest, it’s simply something you know will eventually happen. I wake up in the winter sometimes and it’s 60 degrees, this is the type of thing you just begin to expect. This is Missouri weather, and most definitely St. Louis weather. It can be a good thing; because it means there is a break from winter for a warm day, but it also means we might get a severe thunderstorm with hail in the middle of January. In my opinion the weather in Saint Louis has been getting worse and if that trend continues I expect to see some crazy temperatures this summer.


I have discovered the last three years that my air conditioner is the absolute most important thing I can have running the summer time, however I have learned the hard way that I need to make sure it is properly maintained. The last 3 summers my air conditioning system has broke down and the maintenance technician told me the same thing each time. He said that I should have my unit looked at and maintained in early spring to make sure that there is nothing wrong and that it’s ready for the rough summer ahead. So this year I have contacted my air conditioner in st louis company early to make sure I get things taken care of. I don’t want another hot week during the summer to be spent completely miserable.


I am fortunate, because there is a great St Louis Hvac company that is great at maintenance and are very reliable. Not to mention they will spend the time to help me out with tips on how I can do some home maintenance myself to keep things running. I like that about them, because, some companies that I know wouldn’t take the extra time to help their customers like that. I am already prepared for this summer, I have the same feeling I get after going to the doctor to get a check up or taking my car to the mechanic for a routine check up. I feel this is so important, because the heat can be so dangerous, especially since I have small kids and animals as well. The animals really took it hard last year. Luckily I could take the kids to family members houses, however the animals were just stuck to suffer.


My suggestion to you would be to contact your St Louis Air Conditioning company early in spring and make sure everything is running smoothly. Who knows with our weather we might need to start using our AC in March. I hope you actually listen and get this taken care of, I believe it’s very important.
